The Mobile engineer will help define, design and ship new features across mobile platforms ensuring the performance, quality and responsiveness of all applications.

The role

  • A Mobile engineering role at the core of our digital business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features across mobile platforms
  • Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
  • Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximise efficiency as we scale
  • Help maintain code quality, organisation and automisation

About you

  • Experienced Mobile engineer who loves to be challenged
  • You want to work at the cutting edge of business systems including cloud & mobile
  • You appreciate the role of compliance issues in big business & how this is involved in deploying enterprise software
  • Excellent listener
  • Strong communicator
  • An exceptional collaborator
  • And adept problem spotter & solver
  • Sound experience working in a scrum team

Desirable Skills

  • Enterprise mobile app experience
  • Experience with iOS, Android & Windows with at least 3 years in one platform & one year in at least one of the others
  • Working with a version control branching model such as GitFlow
  • Experience with continuous integration e.g. Jenkins
  • Working with XML and JSON for content/data feeds and REST for consuming APIs
  • Experience working with a formal QA process
  • Experience of BDD, TDD and Unit Testing
  • Experience writing and refining user stories
